2010 Season Manager & Coach Pre-Requisites
Requirement #1: League Approval ALL Managers (aka Head Coaches) must be initially approved by the League President and/or Division Coordinator. Assistant coaches are selected by Managers and approved by League President and/or Division Coordinator.
Requirement #2: Register Online ALL Managers, Coaches, and Team Volunteers working with the kids Our online site is the database for both players and league volunteers. The online system will afford the league the ability organize, communicate, and do background checks in an efficient manner. Register online at www.northcentrallittleleague.org Once you sign in, choose the option “2010 Season-Coach/Volunteer Registration”. Note – be sure to register for your appropriate division.
Requirement #3: Background Check ALL coaches, umpires, board members, and other volunteers must go through the background check process to be approved. Managers - please help the league and ensure all adults on your team that are working with the kids on a regular basis register online and are on your official roster. You will only hear back from the league if follow up is necessary – otherwise you can assume the background check is done.
Requirement 4: Attend the PCA Double Goal Coach Clinic ALL team managers along with 1 other adult from the team are required to attend. Current schedule date is Saturday, February 27th around 3 p.m.
Requirement 5: Attend Your Divisional Pre-Season Meeting ALL team managers are required to attend. Hosted by your Division Coordinator, this meeting will help establish the basics for the season. Date/Time/Location TBD sometime in February.
Requirement 6: Attend League Safety Meeting ALL teams must be represented. It is OK to have an assistant coach or team-volunteer attend. Tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, March 2nd
