As a continuation of the policy we implemented in 2011, for
the 2013 season all teams in the Minors and Majors programs will be re-drafted. Therefore all kids ages 9 through 12 who intend to play in these divisions will be required to attend
player assessment session(s). These assessment sessions enable coaches and the league to make player assignments that create division parity and team balance. Visit the Policies page for the details about the Player Selection process for all
levels.
League Age - Baseball: Anytime the league mentions your
child's age, we are referring to his/her "league age" which means the age s/he will be on April 30, 2013. For example, if you child is currently 8 but will turn 9
on March 11th - your child is considered a "league age" 9 year-old. The exception is TBall, which is the age your child will be on August 31.
League Age - Girls Fast Pitch Softball: Anytime the
league mentions your child's age, we are referring to his/here "league age" which means the age s/he will be on January 1, 2013.

Majors Division: Ages 11-12

The Majors division is both instructional and competitive with admittedly more emphasis on the competitive
aspects of the game than at the Minors division. Managers focus on fielding a competitive team while also providing the players with a fun learning experience. Players should focus
on refining their baseball skills with a strong emphasis on consistency. Often the difference between an average player and a good player is the ability to consistently execute the
required skills.
