Summer League offers a competitive yet more relaxed setting than the regular season. On average teams play 2 games a week with many
inter-league games mixed in. Depending on scheduling and the number of
teams, games will generally be Monday thru Thursday with the slight possibility of a Friday game. No mandatory practices and no weekend games - the player need only to show
up ready to play! The cost is $40 per
player.

Each day begins with drills to develop throwing, catching and batting skills. The final 2 ½ hours are Game Play with each age group divided
into two teams. The games follow a unique fast paced Sandlot format. All players are constantly involved; there is no standing around.
There are brief breaks to teach fielding and team play. Over the course of the week, participants learn comprehensive batting, throwing and
fielding mechanics as well as coordinated team play. The kids learn and develop through their PLAY.
Each team has a qualified and trained Instructor/Coach. Mark Linden, Director of Baseball Positive, leads all the instructional periods and
roams the park during the games providing additional individual and team instruction based on game activity.
